In less than two weeks Huawei officially becomes the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro reveal. We have compiled all the important specs and leaks for both smartphones in this overview.

The time will come soon and the two new smartphones from Huawei are finally official. With exclusive information from WinFuture we already have pretty much all the specifications and details for the two flagships. The biggest change is and will remain the camera. We will probably only find out more about this at the event. We already had over at the beginning of March first press photos reported on the Huawei P30.

Huawei P30 Pro Details

The P30 Pro should bring a 6,47 inch OLED display with FHD + resolution. On the top you will bet on a teardrop notch. The Kirin 980 will be installed under the hood, along with 8 GB of RAM. There should be a choice of 128, 256 or 512 GB of internal storage. The memory can also be expanded using a nano SD card.

The triple camera should also be constructed as follows: 40 MP main lens (OIS, f / 1.6); 20 MP wide angle lens (f / 2.2) and an 8 MP zoom lens (f / 3.4). We should also find a time-of-flight sensor under the flash, which records the space in front of the camera in three dimensions and collects precise depth data. On top there should be 32 megapixels for the front camera. The zoom should also be the highlight of the new cameras, like a Sample photo at Mashable shows.

The battery should be 4200 mAh – exactly the same size as the Huawei Mate 20 Pro. Using a 40-watt power supply, it should also be fully charged again in a flash. A fingerprint sensor is not visible, so it will be under the display. A 3D sensor for face unlock like in the Mate 20 Pro seems to be missing here. There will be an infrared sensor, but there is no jack connection.

There should be a total of four color variants: “Midnight Black” (black), “Breathing Crystal” (white), “Aurora” (green) and “Amber Sunrise” (orange). Prices are still pending, these will probably only be known during the event. The software will be based on Android 9 Pie together with the Huawei surface EMUI 9.1.

The Huawei P30 is a bit smaller and comes with a 6,1 inch OLED display. This also dissolves in FHD +. The Kirin 30 will also be used in the P980, but only with 6 instead of 8 GB of RAM. As a memory variant, you should also be able to choose between 128, 256 or 512 GB of memory. The memory can also be expanded using a nano SD card.

The triple camera differs in a few details from the P30 Pro: 40 MP main lens (OIS, f/1.8); 16 MP wide-angle lens (f/2.2) and an 8 MP zoom lens (f/2.4). In addition, the front camera also has a resolution of 32 megapixels – we do not find a ToF sensor here. As good as the P30 Pro However, the slimmed down version will not be able to zoom.

The battery will come with a capacity of 3650 mAh - as fast as the P30 Pro however, it will not be able to be charged. The P30 has a jack for this. Android 9 Pie with EMUI 9.1 is also used here. The color variants will be black, "Ice White" and "Twilight/Aurora".

Huawei P30 and P30 Pro: Prices

Last year the Huawei P20 had cost 649 euros at the market launch - the P20 Pro cost 899 euros. This year you will probably put 100 euros on top of both smartphones. The cheapest variant of the P30 Pro with 128 GB of memory could start at 999 euros. But there are only final prices at the eventat which we are here on TechnikNews will report promptly.
