Razer Blade 15 Advanced 2021 model introduced
The Razer Blade 15 Advanced (2020) had it for me last year done properly. Lots of power in a compact package, which also had its price. Now Razer has revealed the successor.
As the biggest innovation, the manufacturer has installed an 11th generation Intel CPU in its new Advanced models. To be more precise, the "i7-11800H" is used, this 8-core clocks with a maximum of 4,2 GHz. The best model uses an i9 (11900H), which clocks at a maximum of 4.9GHz. The memory has also been improved, the RAM memory now works with a maximum of 3200 MHZ and the SSDs support PCI 4. One criticism I had was that the laptop was quite heavy and thick, at least one Proproblem was addressed. The Advanced Edition with the RTX 3060 is the smallest 15″ laptop with this GPU, measured the L × W × H of 15,80 mm x 235 mm x 355 mm. As connections for fast data transfer is now used by the new Intel generation profitted and installed Thunderbolt 4.
Video conferencing became more and more important during the pandemic, the more it annoyed me that Razer had continued to use a 720p webcam in the basic version this year. The Advanced Edition now has a 1080p webcam, better late than never. The new Advanced model is again available in several versions. The "entry-level" model with an RTX 3060 is available with a 240Hz QHD display for 2499 euros. The version with the RTX 3070 is available with either a 360Hz full HD display or a 240Hz QHD display. If you want the RTX 3080, you have the full choice. Either 240Hz QHD, 360Hz Full HD or the version with 4K OLED and the i9 for 3699 euros.
The laptops can be bought again at Razer and at selected dealers. The market launch is also in Germany in June.
