Redmi Note 10S: 64 MP quad camera and 33W fast charge for 250 euros

The Note 10 series from Xiaomi has just been expanded with the Redmi Note 10 5G and Note 10S by two more devices. In the following lines we will take a closer look at the Note 10S.
The Redmi Note 10S is between the Pro- and the 5G model. The highlights are definitely the 64 megapixel quad camera and the fast fast charge with up to 33 watts.
Redmi Note 10S: Technical Specifications
The OLED display has a diagonal of 6,43 inches, has a pleasantly sharp resolution of 2.400 x 1.080 pixels and only supports a refresh rate of 60 Hertz. Other smartphones offer a bit more here, but at least it is a high-quality OLED panel and not an LCD like the 5G variant. On the front, the manufacturer then accommodates the front camera in the form of a small punch hole in the screen.

The software used is MIUI version 12.5, based on Android 11. MediaTek's Helio G95, which is manufactured using the 12-nanometer process, works under the hood. It is supported by 6 GB of RAM and either 64 or 128 GB of flash memory proeasily expandable via a micro SD card. Xiaomi has given the Note 10S a 5.000 mAh battery that can be charged quickly with up to 33 watts as a special feature. The matching power supply is even included in the scope of delivery. NFC is supported and otherwise there are stereo speakers and a jack on board. The smartphone can be unlocked via the fingerprint sensor on the side and via a rather insecure 2D face recognition.
Xiaomi has installed four sensors on the back, which are located at the top left. The camera setup includes a 64 megapixel main camera, 8 megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and two additional sensors, each with 2 megapixels, which are responsible for macro shots and depth effects. The front camera has a resolution of 16 megapixels.

Redmi Note 10S: prices, colors & availability
The Redmi Note 10S in the small version with 64 GB of memory costs 249,90 euros and the manufacturer charges 20 euros more for double memory. When it comes to colors, buyers can choose between gray, blue and white.
