At the beginning of the year, Samsung is launching the Galaxy S10 Lite, together with the Note 10 Lite. Despite “Lite”, both smartphones can be classified more in the middle class.

The price of the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite and Galaxy Note 10 Lite is no longer really “Lite”. The S10 Lite will start at 649 euros, the Note 10 Lite will cost 599 euros. Both devices should still be available in Germany and Austria in the first quarter of 2020. Thus one would classify the devices more in the middle class - but let's take a closer look at the specs.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite and Note 10 Lite: Features

Let's start with the similarities first. Both smartphones come in the new 2020 design, where the camera is rearranged on the back for the first time. We had that on leaks for 10 Lite notes and to the coming Galaxy S20 seen. Both displays of the smartphones are 6,7-inch (resolution: 2.400 x 1.080 pixels), the battery has 4500 mAH in both and both come with an internal memory of 128 GB, which can be expanded by up to 1 TB.

The RAM of the S8 Lite is slightly larger at 10 GB than the 6 GB of the Note 10 Lite. In the S10 Lite, the Snapdragon 855 is to be used, in the Note 10 Lite older ExynosProprocessor. Which that is cannot be read from the data sheet.

There are triple cameras at the rear, with the S10 Lite offering higher resolutions. There is a 12 MP ultra wide angle camera, together with a 48 MP wide angle and 5 MP macro lens. The Note 10 Lite uses ultra-wide-angle, wide-angle and telephoto lenses, each with 12 MP. The cameras on the front have a resolution of 32 MP. Both smartphones also come with Android 10 and cannot be charged wirelessly - there are also no stereo speakers or water resistance.
