Today the first Stadia Connect took place, where Google has more details on the upcoming Game streaming-Service disclosed. You can find all the details here.

For the first time there is concrete information about Google Stadia, which Google presented for the first time at GDC 2019. With the streaming service, it should be possible to play games in up to 4K with 60 frames pro second to enjoy. HDR and surround sound is also supported. And on which platforms can Stadia be used initially? Either you use a computer with the Chrome browser or you own one Pixel 3a (xl), Pixel 3 (xl) or a Chromecast Ultra. The provider suggests using Stadia with an internet speed of 35 megabytes pro second is best.

Games

At the beginning there are a few games that are available for gaming on Stadia and cost something. These games include GRID, Football Manager 2020, Tomb Raider Trilogy and Assassin's Creed Odyssey, among others. In which Prosubscription, which I will discuss later, adds Google Destiny 2 for free. More free content will follow at regular intervals.

Prices and availability

Google's gaming service will start in Germany in November. I couldn't find any details about a launch in Austria, because at least the official website is not available there. At the start there is a subscription that Pro- Subscription, available. This costs 9,99 euros a month and offers things like gaming in 4K and free additional titles. The Base subscription will follow next year. This is free and only supports buying and enjoying games in 1080p.

They also want to offer a "Founder's Edition" for the release. In this three months are stadia Pro, a limited Stadia Controller and a Chromecast Ultra included. This pack is already available for pre-order. And what do you think of Google Stadia?

I think the idea is good, but is the free subscription really free?
