The Chinese manufacturer Vivo today introduced the new Vivo X60 Pro 5G for Germany officially before. You can find out what it has to offer and how much it costs in the following lines.

The X60 series, which consists of a regular model, a Pro and a Pro+ exists. We only get the X60 for now Pro 5G, which is slightly different from the Chinese version.

Technical data

A 6,56-inch AMOLED display dominates the front, which is slightly rounded on both sides and is only interrupted by a small punch hole. The panel has a pleasantly sharp resolution of 2.376 x 1.080 pixels and supports a smooth refresh rate of 120 Hertz. At the predecessor it was only 90 Hertz.

The in-house user interface Funtouch OS, based on Android 11, is used as software. Under the hood there is the first difference compared to the Chinese version. While the Exynos 1080 from Samsung is used in China, we have to be satisfied with the Snapdragon 870 from Qualcomm. It is supported by 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. Unfortunately, the latter cannot be expanded via a micro SD card.

Vivo donated to the X60 Pro 5G a 4.200 mAh that can be charged with up to 33 watts. As with the predecessor, wireless charging is unfortunately not possible. You will also look in vain for stereo speakers and an IP 68 certification against the ingress of water and dust.

On the back there is space for three cameras in the top left. A 48 megapixel sensor with a bright aperture of f/1.48 is used as the main sensor and there is also a 13 megapixel ultra wide-angle camera and a portrait lens with 13 megapixels as well. In addition to technical improvements, such as optimizing the gimbal system, Vivo has also improved the software. So offers the new X60 Pro the possibility to take portrait shots in the style of the ZEISS Biotar. Here the blurred background has a rotating effect. In addition, the night mode is said to have been significantly improved thanks to the gimbal stabilization 2.0 and the extremely bright aperture. Furthermore, the new smartphone has the so-called Pixel Shift Ultra HD Imaging Technology, which increases the accuracy of the colors and details. The front camera has a resolution of 32 megapixels.

Vivo X60 Pro 5G: price, colors and availability

The Vivo X60 Pro 5G will be launched at the beginning of June for a recommended retail price of 799 euros. It will be available from MediaMarkt, Saturn and Sparhandy, among others. When it comes to colors, customers can choose between Midnight Black and ShimmerBlue.
