As someone who is constantly on the go and needs a reliable work companion, I was excited to see how this laptop would meet my needs. In this review I will share my own experiences with the Surface Laptop Go 3 and also look at the technical specifications.

While the lack of a backlit keyboard is a minor criticism, the many other benefits of this laptop make up for this shortcoming. If you're looking for a powerful and portable laptop for travel, then you should definitely consider the Surface Laptop Go 3.

Design and workmanship
When I picked up the Surface Laptop Go 3 for the first time, I was immediately impressed by its light and slim design. The aluminum housing not only gives it robustness, but also a high-quality look. At only 1,11 kg it is a real lightweight and can be used proTake it anywhere with ease.
The build quality is excellent and the laptop feels incredibly solid. The typical Surface design with clear lines and simple elegance is well implemented here. The silver color option gives the device a timeless and proprofessional appearance.
performance and speed
I had the version with the Intel® Core™ i5Processor and 8 GB of RAM and was not disappointed with the performance. This laptop effortlessly handled all of my tasks, be it editing documents, surfing the web, or running software applications. The SSD ensured fast loading times and the laptop's response to my commands was almost instantaneous.
Display and picture quality
The 12,4-inch PixelSense touchscreen display impressed me with its sharp visuals and vibrant colors. The 1536 x 1024 pixel resolution was more than sufficient for my tasks, and the touchscreen functionality made navigation easier, especially in tablet mode or when sketching.
The screen was easy to read even in bright ambient light and the viewing angle stability also impressed me. I could proEasily enjoy videos and edit images without having to compromise on image quality.
Battery and running time
The battery life of the Surface Laptop Go 3 was truly impressive. Microsoft promises up to 13 hours, which I came very close to in my test. I could do without ProProblems work a whole working day without having to worry about charging. The quick charge function was particularly useful when I was on the go and needed to be up and running again quickly.
Mobility and connections
The Surface Laptop Go 3 is undoubtedly a perfect companion for mobile users like me. The light weight and compact design make it ideal for business trips or daily commuting. Opening and closing with one hand is really practical and makes it much easier to use on the go.
In terms of ports, the laptop offers a balanced selection. The USB-C and USB-A ports, headphone jack, and microSD card reader met all my connectivity and expansion needs.
Disadvantages
One of the few things I found missing from the Surface Laptop Go 3 was a backlit keyboard. This can happen particularly in poorly lit environments or in the dark probe problematic. A keyboard backlight would have been a welcome addition and would have further improved the overall experience of the laptop.
