Four more days until the OnePlus 7 Pro in London officially revealed will. In the meantime there is new information about the smartphone from the CEO himself. This will have a better vibration motor.

"Please put a good vibration motor on upcoming devices" is a Reddit post that was addressed to OnePlus. So far this has got 481 approvals. And rightly so, because the vibration motors in OnePlus smartphones have always been too weak or too inconsistent, which means that notifications are often overlooked.

OnePlus 7 Pro: Bigger engine for less criticism?

The manufacturer apparently listened to the feedback, as Pete Lau, CEO of OnePlus, confirmed to the company CNET, that in the OnePlus 7 Pro a new motor for the vibrations will work. This will be in the 7th Pro be larger, so that it is around 200 Procent stronger than the old one. During production, care had to be taken that the device would not become thicker. At the same time, you have to make sure that the drive is placed in such a way that the vibrations are equally strong over the housing. Pete Lau also notes that it will be possible to change the strength of the vibration motor, even while typing on the keyboard. It remains to be seen how this change will play out in the wild.
