Oppo Reno 2, Reno 2Z and A91 will soon receive an update to ColorOS 7 with Android 10
A few smartphones from Oppo will soon receive the update to ColorOS 7, which is based on Android 10. The update not only brings the Android version up to date, but also brings some improvements.
The latest ColorOS 7 from Oppo is based on Android 10. It already exists Android 11, but only in the beta version for Google Pixel smartphones. In our Android 10 update article we have already listed which older smartphones will receive the update to Android 10. Newly released smartphones must have the latest Android version preinstalled anyway, according to Google. Now Oppo is also bringing some older smartphones up to date.
Oppo Reno 2, Reno 2Z and A91: Update in June
Oppo wants to provide the Android 2 update for its Reno 2, Reno 91Z and A10 smartphones in June. With the latest Find X2 Pro Android 10 is already being used anyway. In addition to the latest version, the update should also bring improvements in terms of UX design, security and individualization and thus offer an even better user experience.
As always, it can take a few weeks for every user to receive the update. But now you have at least one date: it starts in June.
In Switzerland, the Reno2 received the Android 10 update at the beginning of April.
It's exciting that this is already being rolled out in Switzerland - I didn't know, thanks for the info!
How is the software running, are there any noticeable changes compared to ColorOS 6 or Android 9?
