Razer revealed that because of the success of the Razer Phones Work is already underway on a successor, the Razer Phone 2, which will even appear this year. Thanks to benchmarks, it is now known how this smartphone should be equipped.

Top specifications

More specifically, benchmark results obtained in Antutu and Geekbench showed up. In Geekbench, the smartphone achieved a single-core score of 2206 points and a multi-core score of 8234 points. At Antutu a score of 283.397 points was achieved. In addition to the results, the specs of this device were also there: A Snapdragon 845 in combination with the Adreno 630, 512 gigabytes of internal memory and eight gigabytes of RAM drives the alleged Razer Phone 2. Android 8.1 Oreo is listed as the operating system. Hopefully Razer will install by market launch Android 9.0 Pie.

And what else?

The display is probably 5,7 inches and is based on LCD. According to one of the benchmark results, the resolution of the touchscreen should be 1440p. The Razer Phone 120 will likely support a refresh rate of 2Hz as well.

Roland Quandt from WinFuture claims that the Razer Phone 2 will have chroma LED lighting as a small bonus feature. This is what Razer calls the lighting system that is also built into the company's keyboards. According to Quandt, this lighting should be activated when a new notification is received on the smartphone. It will be at least another month before we find out what the Razer Phone 2 is really capable of.
