This week there was some interesting news again, some of which we also reported on. Oneplus leaked the hardware of their upcoming smartphone, a Spotify event would be announced and much more. We have everything in this TechnikNews Weekly summarized.
New leaks for Oneplus 6
Oneplus has been pretty open about the details of the Oneplus 6 recently. The name and the notch were recently confirmed. Now the company has leaked the entire hardware of the device. The SoC is said to be the Snapdragon 845 from Qualcomm, which is supported by 8GB of RAM. This means that multitasking should no longer be a problem. The storage is also quite large at 256GB. The camera is said to be a dual camera, just like in the current smartphones. Information about the resolutions is not yet known.
Galaxy S9 mini could come
Since the Samsung Galaxy S5 mini there has not been a mini device in the S series. This could change now. In a benchmark, a Samsung smartphone with the designation SM - G8750 was spotted, which could well be a Galaxy S9 mini. According to the benchmark, this device should accommodate the Snapdragon 660 with 4GB of RAM. Android 8.0 was used as the operating system. There was no precise information about the display in the details of the benchmark. In general, it is still unclear whether we will ever see such a device. There have been similar rumors based on such benchmarks in recent years, but none have come true.
Rampage in the headquarters of Youtube
Around noon on April 3, something tragic happened at YouTube's headquarters in San Bruno, California. Around noon, employees in the courtyard heard gunshots from the building. The police were alerted immediately and the campus evacuated. A total of three people were injured by gunshots, and a fourth person was injured when leaving the campus. 39 - year - old Nasim Aghdam has been identified as the perpetrator. According to the local police, she gained access to the campus via the parking garage. The police named anger on YouTube as a motive because of the guidelines for their own videos. Nasim Aghdam was found dead by YouTube while still on campus.

YouTube with serverprotrouble
This week there were problems with YouTube. Serverproproblems, to be precise. During this time, users had to deal with long loading times, channels could not be accessed at all, the comment fields and the YouTube app barely worked. After just under two hours, the problem was resolved.
New processors from Intel
This week, Intel introduced its Coffee Lake H series. This includes the i5 8300 H, which has four cores, the i7 8850H, which has six cores and is enabled for overclocking, the i9 8950H, also a hexacore with 45W and a clock speed of 4,6GHz, and two new Intel XEON processors. All of the SoCs mentioned above are manufactured using the 14nm process and support "Thermal Velocity Boost", which allows a single-core clock speed of up to 4,8GHz. All of these processors also support USB 3.1. In addition, they are also supposed to bring a big performance boost. For example, with the Core i9 it is possible to render a project in Premiere 60% faster than was the case with the Core i7 of the previous generation. Gaming should therefore not be a problem. New desktop chips were also introduced, which were also manufactured using the 14nm process and also support USB 3.1.

Macs without Intel processors in the future
With the iPad Pro, it became clear that Apple's own processors can also be quite powerful. Now there are rumors that ARM processors will be used in Macs. This can bring a number of advantages. Firstly, you will become independent of Intel. This could in turn lead to an increase in performance, as your own adjustments can be made internally and without consulting Intel. In addition, the change could make Apple devices work together even more seamlessly, which in turn could lead to greater isolation from other systems. For example, it may no longer be possible to use Windows via a virtual machine. On the other hand, isolation could improve battery life. At this point, however, it must be noted that the change is still in the early stages of development and could possibly take until 2020. It is also currently unclear whether the new Macs will then beat PCs with Intel processors.
Spotify event announced for April 24th
There have been rumors about a Spotify Assistant and a Spotify Speaker for some time. Spotify has confirmed the first. One of these products could now be presented at the upcoming Spotify event in New York. According to the company itself, there will be "a major innovation". It remains to be seen which products will actually be presented.

Snapchat Update brings separation between stories and chats and chronology
The Snapchat redesign from December 2017 has been used by many users heavily criticized.
