Honor will unveil its first foldable smartphone, the Magic V, in China on January 10th. All information.
The company announced in a press release that its first foldable smartphone “Honor Magic V” will be officially presented on January 10th at 12:30 pm German time. A first teaser already reveals that the device is probably built “in the Galaxy Z Fold” style and has three cameras on the back. The group has set up a corresponding YouTube stream, in the description of "China launch event“ satprochan.
A worldwide release, including the German market, is therefore very unlikely. So far, only the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 has been confirmed as technical data, further data are still open. The Honor Magic V will face strong competition in the Chinese market, including the recently released one Oppo Find Women, the Huawei Mate X2 as well as the Galaxy z fold 3 or Mix fold from Xiaomi.
