TechnikNews Weekly # 144: Motorola Nio, Pixel 4a 5G, Snapchat Spotlight, and more
After the last three editions of the TechnikNews Weekly on Lars went, now it's my turn again. Here is a summary of the tech world events over the past week.
About a month ago, Lars was a little cocky when betting (follow us on Instagramto find out what I mean), his bet was writing the three upcoming weekly issues. Well, Lars, thank you, because you have lost and saved your dear colleagues some work. But he did well and paid off his debts, which is why I am once again able to present you the top news from the world of technology from last week.

Motorola Nio: First details known
The Motorola Nio could hit the market as the manufacturer's flagship as early as next year. One of the things that becomes clear that it will be a flagship is a look under the hood. According to our information, the device should come with the Snapdragon 865, eight / twelve gigabytes of RAM and 128/256 gigabytes of storage. Details about the camera are not yet clear, presumably a triple camera with a 64 megapixel main sensor, a 16 megapixel ultra wide-angle sensor and a 2 megapixel depth sensor will be used.
Pixel 4a 5G review
In addition to the Google Pixel 5, the Pixel 4a 5G was also presented as a cheaper alternative. Colleague Fabian was able to take a closer look at the smartphone for a few weeks and shared his experiences with us. He liked the Pixel 4a 5G very much, especially because it delivers a good Google smartphone experience for relatively little money. In his test, he also explains when you should reach for the Pixel 5.
Snapchat Spotlight is here
With Spotlight, Snapchat wants to compete with TikTok and Instagram Reels. At the start, the feature will be available in Germany, among others, and Austria and Switzerland will follow in the near future. Similar to the networks mentioned, short videos can be presented to the public as snaps with Spotlight. Snap will also be awarding prize money for the best spotlights until the end of the year.
